Gel instructions
Application amount
Gently press the centre of the lid to dispense a small amount of gel. Apply a thin layer to a clean area of skin and gently massage into the application area. Use only the amount required for comfortable coverage.
Daily usage
Apply once or twice daily as preferred. Consistent application may help maintain a regular usage routine. Usage frequency may be adjusted according to individual preference and animal size. For animals weighing over 150kg, a slightly larger amount may be applied if required.
Option 1 – apply to ears
For many animals, the outer ear flap can be a convenient application area because it is generally difficult for the animal to reach and lick. Apply a thin layer of gel to the outer ear area as illustrated below. Avoid applying the gel inside the ear canal or on the areas marked in red.

Option 2 – Alternative Application Areas
The gel may also be applied to other suitable areas of clean skin. Select an area where the animal is unlikely to immediately lick or remove the product. Choose a location with minimal fur or feathers where the gel can be easily applied to the skin. Refer to the illustrations below for examples of suitable application areas.
Please ensure the application area is clean, dry and difficult for the animal to reach or lick immediately after application. Avoid applying the product to broken skin, open wounds or areas where thick fur or feathers prevent contact with the skin.
Additional guidelines & recommendations
- Apply to clean, dry skin.
- Prevent the animal from licking the area immediately after application.
- Trim excess fur or feathers if required.
- Massage gently into the application area.
- Consider wearing disposable gloves when handling irritated or sensitive skin areas.
- If the animal is resistant to administration, refer to the handling tips below.
Oral spray instructions
Application amount
One application is dispensed by pressing the spray nozzle once, or by using the supplied dropper attachment where applicable. Follow the recommended daily usage guidelines below based on your animal’s size.
Applications per day (by size)
- 0-2kg: 1 spray/drop once daily
- 2-100kg: 1 spray/drop twice daily
- 100-200kg: 1 spray/drop three times daily
- Over 200kg: 2 sprays/drops twice daily
Mouth application areas
Apply the spray or liquid directly onto the gums, inside cheek, or under the tongue where practical. The illustrations below show suitable application areas for different animal types.

Additional spray guidelines
- Wait at least 15 minutes after an animal has consumed food/liquid before administering, and then a further 15 minutes after application
- For very small animals like rodents and birds, we recommend choosing the eyedropper version for ease of application
- Avoid applying the liquid directly onto the animal’s teeth. Apply to the gums, inside cheek or under the tongue where practical.
Using a gel and spray together
Some customers choose to use both the topical gel and oral spray as part of their pet care routine. Where both products are used, follow the individual usage instructions provided for each product. Always select the product strength appropriate for your animal’s size and use as directed.
If using both products, follow the separate usage instructions for each product. Do not exceed the recommended amount for your animal’s size. If you are unsure whether both formats are suitable for your animal, please contact our team for guidance.
Tips for resistant animals
- Apply when the animal is calm and relaxed.
- Use treats and positive reinforcement where appropriate.
- For smaller animals, consider gentle wrapping to assist safe handling.
- Ask another person to assist if needed.
- Always prioritise safety for both the animal and handler.
